Introduction
This policy explains which personal data the iPhone app Quiz Patente B processes, why, and what rights you have, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). The app is designed to collect the bare minimum: no registration is required and you are never asked for your name, email or phone number to use it.
Data controller
The data controller is Claudio Bozzolan – Boz Studio, Italy.
For any privacy question, write to supporto@bozstudio.app.
In short
- your progress and settings stay saved on your iPhone
- purchases are handled by Apple: I never see your payment details
- the app shows ads via Google AdMob; personalised ads only with your consent
- I do not sell your data or build profiles about you
Data stored on your iPhone
Progress, scores, preferences and settings are saved only on your device and are not sent to me. If iCloud Backup is enabled, this data may be included in the backup managed by Apple under its own privacy policy. You can delete it at any time by deleting the app.
In-app purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. I do not receive or store your payment details: Apple only shares the information needed to unlock the content you bought. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Apple privacy policy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
To offer the app for free I show ads via Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd.). To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google may process your IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and, only if you allow it, the device advertising identifier (IDFA).
- On first launch the app asks for your consent (using a form compliant with EU rules) and, separately, Apple's tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency).
- If you do not consent you will see non-personalised ads, based only on context.
- You can change your mind at any time from the app settings or from iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may transfer data outside the EU with appropriate safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). Google privacy policy · How Google uses data from partners' apps.
What I do not do with your data
I do not sell or hand over your data to third parties, I do not use it for purposes other than those described and I do not make automated decisions about you.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers listed above are based in the United States. In these cases transfers are based on the European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
Children
The app does not require identifying data and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14; children are not shown personalised ads. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent me personal data, write to supporto@bozstudio.app and I will delete it.
Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing and withdraw any consent given, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To do so, write to supporto@bozstudio.app: I will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Since most data stays on your iPhone and is never sent to me, the simplest way to delete it is often to delete the app.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes the way it handles data I will update this page and the "last updated" date shown at the top. For significant changes I will also let you know in the app.
